STATEMENT SWEATERS

Objective: Develop women’s knit sweaters that elevate a basic silhouette through texture and material play, translating artisanal and textile art references into modern, wearable products. Materials should be chunky wool base in earthy shades with pops of colour.

The project drew inspiration from handcraft textile art and vintage vibes. The design process focused on creating visual interest within clean, commercial silhouettes, balancing a playful yet modern aesthetic. AI-assisted tools enabled rapid testing of variations in texture and composition, while maintaining a realistic, production-oriented approach aligned with contemporary womenswear standards.
